I’m a Jungian writer working at the intersection of ancient divination and depth psychology.

Most astrologers aren’t trained Jungians. Most Jungians don’t practice astrology. I live in that rare overlap—bringing symbolic systems like astrology, tarot, and the I Ching into conversation with Jung’s psychology of the soul.

Jung said several times that it is the “ordinary people” who will carry on his work. I’m one of those ordinary people—not a clinician or academic, but a devoted student and practitioner. In 2025 I graduated from the two-year Jungian Studies certificate program at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago and am listed as a professional affiliate on their website.

My Training

My Jungian analyst often reminded me: it’s essential to work with a symbol system as part of inner work. For years I searched for the right teacher, knowing astrology was central to Jung’s practice with his patients.

I found that teacher in Adam Elenbaas at Nightlight Astrology, where I completed all four year-long courses (2019-2023), passed the certification exams, and now serve as a tutor in the student forums. I continue studying through Nightlight’s master classes and maintain a daily practice of chart work.

I’ve also completed the Tarot Reader Certificate Program with Jungian analyst Ken James (2025) and study the I Ching, having worked through multiple hexagrams with my analyst and attended his workshops. I follow John Beebe’s eight-function archetypal model of psychological typology.

My Approach

I treat astrology, tarot, and the I Ching as forms of divination—symbolic mirrors, not causal systems. My work helps you see the patterns in your chart, understand how they’re unfolding in your life, and discern what themes may be emerging.

Every day I share quotes from depth psychology books on Instagram (4,600+ followers), inviting a contemplative lectio divina style of reading. My monthly newsletter, Reading in Depth, explores the Jungian books I’m currently studying. Before All This

My background includes a BA in English, years of marketing copywriting, humor columns for newspapers, corporate coaching, and running an online bookstore. True to my Gemini nature, I’ve lived many lifetimes in one lifetime.

During the first half of life, I responded to what the world asked of me. During the second half, I’m focused on what wants to enter the world through me.
